La Bostonnais is a municipality in the Mauricie region of the province of Quebec in Canada. The community is about 10 kilometres north of La Tuques town centre along Quebec Route 155.

The municipality takes its name from the nearby Bostonnais and streams Bostonnais. This name probably came from originally an American from Boston, who joined the Abenaki in the early 19th century. In 1823 he appealed to the Abenaki people by the name of Jean-Baptiste Bostonnais which was one of his daughters was baptized in Trois-rivières. Family Bostonnais had their hunting territory in the area where the namesake rivers flow.
