Archena is a municipality of Spain in the autonomous community and province of Murcia. It has a population of 18.496 and an area of 16.5 km 2. It is 24 km away from the provincial capital, Murcia.

Archena is home to a hot water mineral springs since Roman times and has 3 hotels built around it. While undergoing a recent development, more Roman ruins were found on-site Spa.
