929: Tanakh Byachad is a project for learning one chapter of Tanakh per day, totaling 5 chapters per week. The name 929 refers to the total number of chapters in the Tanakh. The project was announced by the Israeli Education Ministry, and began on December 21, 2014. The first cycle was completed on April 18, 2018, coinciding with Israels 70th Independence Day. The first cycle of the project offered content in Hebrew only. The second cycle, which began on July 15, 2018, offers some content in English as well. Academic grading in Costa Rica is based on a 100-point scale. For primary school level, a score of 65 is good enough to pass, while in high school and further levels the pass grade is 70/100. Students who attain between 60 and the passing grade get the chance to take an extra test that reviews the whole years curriculum, and in which a 70 is needed to achieve a passing score.
