ⓘ Corpus Christi Army Depot

Corpus Christi Army Depot is a United States Department of Defense Center of Industrial and Technical Excellence for rotary wing aircraft. It has been a tenant of Naval Air Station Corpus Christi since 1961.

The mission of the Convention is to ensure aviation readiness for all service and international sales. ZAKER is currently the largest facility of its type in the world and serves as a training base depot for the service of the army, National guard, reserve and international personnel. The warehouse field teams provide worldwide on the spot, technical service in any part of the world, saving a considerable amount of time and money on the repair of aircraft engines and components on site rather than have them delivered to the warehouse for repair. CAKER provides overhaul, repair, modification, recapitalization, modernization, testing and modernization of helicopters, engines and components for the sale and service of helicopters.

In 2018 Gail Atkins became the first woman to head CACOR.
