The Cleghorn Lakes Wilderness is a 33.475-acre wilderness area in the southern Mojave Desert. It is located 16 miles northeast of Twentynine Palms, California, and 20 miles north of Joshua Tree National Park. It is managed by the Bureau of Land Management.

The name "dry lake" in the middle of the desert zone, this zone has diverse natural resources. The Eastern part is mountainous, while the Western part is a vast alluvial fan and bajada. The altitude ranges from 1.400 ft 430 m a desert with rocky mountains bars that rise more than feet 1.200 4.100 m 4-km 6.4 km stretch.
