Caso is a municipality in the Spanish Principality of Asturias. It shares a boundary to the North with Piloña, to the East with Ponga, to the South with Leon and to the West with Sobrescobio and Laviana.

Most of the inhabitants of Caso live in the valley de nalón, where the largest city is the capital and El campu. The city is divided into two areas: LArrobiu and El borax.

The municipalities of Caso and Sobrescobio together constitute the natural Park of Redes, designated by UNESCO as biosphere reserve. Natural monument Cueva Deboyu river de nalón flows through the cave in the mountain is also located in caso. Caso is famous for its landscape, European beech forests, wood handcraft and Spin cheese.

In the past, most Casos people worked in the coal industry and livestock. Currently, tourism has become one of the most important activities in caso, but farming is still the most relevant.

Tunes dam provides electricity and drinking water in the Central part of Asturias.
