H.R. 2611 is a bill that was introduced into the United States House of Representatives during the 113th United States Congress. The bill would name the new United States Coast Guard building after Douglas Albert Munro.

Signalman first class Douglas albert Munro is the only member of the coast guard of the United States, who received the Medal of Honor. Medal of Honor-the highest military award given in the United States for personal deeds above and beyond the call of duty. Munro received "after the success of his appointment, which he volunteered to evacuate a detachment of Marines that had been overwhelmed by the enemy" during the Second world war.
