Stonewall Gap is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Las Animas County, Colorado, United States. Its population was 67 at the 2010 census.

The community along the state route Colorado-12 in the gap formed by the middle fork of the Purgatoire river through 8.400 feet altitude of 2.600 meters of stone ridge. Highway 12 leads East down the Purgatoire river valley 33 miles 53 km in Trinidad, Las Animas County, and the North-Cucharas pass in the mountains, Sangre de Cristo 32 miles 51 km to La Veta.
