Roches Noires is a village located in the Riviere du Rempart district of Mauritius, on the east coast. It is located about 14 miles east of the capital of Port Louis. It has an estimated population of 5.733 inhabitants.

Roches Noires is a residential area with many of the bungalows and villas are occupied as second homes.

This part of the coast is located near the village consists of several secluded coves with white sand. In several places around the city of Rocher Noir, the reef comes to within 50 meters from the shore.

Popular attractions include "La cave Madame" in the Royal road, the public beach and "Pointe de Roche Noire", also known as "Milles La Mer".
