Oberkirchen is a locality in the municipality Schmallenberg in the High Sauerland District in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.

The village is 796 residents and is located in the Eastern part of the municipality Schmallenberg in the altitude of 442 metres. The Lenne river flows through the village. In the center of the village on BundesstraSe 236 Federal road meets LandesstraSe 640. Oberkirchen is bordered by the villages of Winkhausen, Niedersorpe, Inderlenne, Vorwald and Almert. The village belonged to the municipality of Oberkirchen Schmallenberg in the AMT before the end of 1974.
