ⓘ Dubai Smart Police Stations

The Smart Police Station is a new system of interactive kiosks by Dubai Police Force. The self-service units function as digital police stations that provide services to the public previously offered at conventional police stations only.

1. History

This project is the first of its kind in the Middle East that allows the community to access police services through kiosks in line with the future visions of UAEs leaders to transform Dubai into the smartest city in the world and by 2021 to have artificial intelligence play a crucial role in reducing crime and promoting a safer environment. These types of stations are developed by smart and interactive user-centered technologies that are integrated as part of new projects and areas. The new smart services allow users to complete transactions digitally without human intervention and without having to wait in queues or visiting police stations traditionally with the goal of reducing customers physically visiting police stations by 80 percent. The self-service centres follow international police standards and are distributed across the Emirate of Dubai in many locations to maintain a safe and secure environment for visitors and residents.
