The W Broadway Local is a rapid transit service of the New York City Subways B Division. Its route emblem, or "bullet", is colored yellow since it uses the BMT Broadway Line in Manhattan.

W is valid only on weekdays except late nights between Ditmars Boulevard in Astoria, Queens and Whitehall street in Lower Manhattan, making small stops along the whole route, limited rush hour service extended beyond Whitehall street and 86th street in Brooklyn, making a small stop in Brooklyn.
