Sebastopol is a village community in the north east part of the Riverina. It is situated by road, about 15 kilometres south of Temora and 19 kilometres north of Junee Reefs.

The village is situated at the signs on the Olympic track. In addition to rural dwellings surrounding the village the only sign of a more prosperous past-a dilapidated building is well past his Prime and well-built brick Presbyterian Church on the next street Mimosa near the intersection of Henry Road.

He was named after Sevastopol, the site of the important battle during the Crimean war. Sebastopol post office opened on 7 March 1870 and closed in 1973.
